A three-part course exploring the expressive and emotional language of color through a meditative, intuitive approach to art making.

Explore the expressive and emotional language of color through a meditative, intuitive approach to art making. This class invites students to engage with color through observation and feeling, and deepen their creative process in a reflective environment. Through guided meditations and mindful drawing and painting exercises, and one-on-one guidance, participants will explore how color can communicate inner experience while cultivating artistic confidence. 

Students are encouraged to work in their preferred medium, including colored pencil, pastel, pen and ink, watercolor, or other portable drawing and painting materials. Rather than focusing solely on a finished product, this class emphasizes experimentation and trusting your intuitive choices. The instructor will provide demonstrations, individualized guidance, and opportunities for discussion throughout the course, while allowing ample time for independent studio practice and reflection.
