Join Lloyd Guindon for a walking tour of Pendle Hill grounds to visit some of the sites that inspired the writings of pamphlet number 496 “The Back Forty”. The author will share stories of his time tending the land and read poems and short essays from the pamphlet. Themes of family, childhood mentors, community and the companionship of the natural world weave together a story of life and love while in service to Pendle Hill.
Stick around for refreshments and lawn games on Firbank field at the end of the tour.

Lloyd Guindon has carefully tended the Pendle Hill grounds for over 30 years. A graduate of the Barnes Foundation’s Arboretum School, he is trained as an arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture.
